Disadvantages of VHS tapes:

• Old technology
• Tapes lose quality each time you watch, fast forward or rewind them.
• Loses quality over time, even if their not watched!
• A VCR can damage tapes by creasing, breaking, and stretching.
• Bulky, difficult to store

Advantages of DVDs:

• New digital technology.
• DVDs can last up to one hundred years.
• DVDs do not lose quality regardless of the number of times played.
• Small, slim, and easy to store.

It’s easy! Here’s what you do . . .

1. Print out the TrustedMemories Order Form.
2. Number your videotapes for easy identification, using a sticker or piece of tape.
3. Fill in your personal information (Section 1).
4. Fill in specific information about each video (Section 2).
5. Refer to FAQ #10 for questions about filling out Section 2.
6. If you want copies to give as gifts, and would like personalized labels, spell out instructions in Section 3.
7. You may send the package via UPS, FedEx, or US Mail.
8. E-mail me to let me know the tapes have been sent. I will confirm receipt of your tapes via e-mail.
9. I’ll make your conversions and will notify you when I return the tapes and your new DVDs.
