About Me

karen2I’ve lived in Vermont since 1988. I love Vermont. I love the seasons and the people and the easy pace. I have loved raising my children here. I have three beautiful children (a daughter, 24, and two sons, ages 21 and 8) and a wonderful husband.

I have many hobbies I enjoy such as sewing, quilting, rug braiding, stained glass, knitting, gardening, scrap booking, and most of all spending time with my family. I have always been a fanatic about taking videos and pictures to preserve memories.

One evening I put a cherished video of my daughter as a baby in the VCR and saw that the quality of the picture and sound had become poor. My heart sank. The pictures and videos of my family are my most prized possessions and I was losing them slowly to deterioration!

After some research, I discovered that videotapes don’t last forever. They deteriorate over time (this speed of deterioration can be affected by temperature, moisture, storage, and age) and should be preserved on DVD.

I resisted the idea of sending my tapes off to a photo processing chain where priceless videos are possibly nothing more than a number. I’ve had bad experiences with mail order companies losing rolls of film. One roll that was lost contained the only pictures of my daughter's high school graduation.

That was the day I decided to start this business. I believe others must feel the same way I do about their home videos and need someone they can trust to convert them to DVD.

Well Trust is my middle name. Actually it IS my maiden name! I have an appreciation for the importance of your memories, I would like to provide you the service as someone you can trust.
